K-pop group T-ara’s Jiyeon is getting married too
“Crash Landing on You” stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are not the only ones who are getting married.
K-pop girl group T-ara’s Jiyeon, 28, announced on Feb. 10, the same day as the #BinJin couple, that she is getting married to KT Wiz baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun, 34.
"I have a boyfriend whom I met with good feelings last year through an acquaintance. He always considers me first, cherishes me, and tells me that happiness is a gift in my life. We promised to get married in the coming winter," wrote Jiyeon on Instagram, according to Korean media outlet Dispatch. Along with the post are photos of her and Hwang Jae-gun.
Jiyeon debuted in T-ara in 2009 and also ventured into acting.
"I'm going to live a happy life with a reliable boyfriend who firmly held me during my unstable situation, he gave me a shoulder to lean on,” she added.
Hwang Jae-gyun also took to Instagram to announce his marriage to Jiyeon.
"I have a person I want to be with for the rest of my life. I met her during a difficult time last year and decided to get married with her who held me tight and helped me a lot just by being by my side" he said.
Last Jan. 18, Soyeon, 34, former member of T-ara, announced that she is marrying soccer player Cho Yu-min, 25, who plays for the Suwon FC team.
"Singer/actress Soyeon will be marrying Suwon FC soccer player Cho Yu-min. The couple plan to hold their wedding ceremony in November when Cho's season comes to an end, and Soyeon will be busy as well assisting Cho Yu-min throughout the season,” announced Think Entertainment, Soyeon’s agency, according to SBS News.
On her Instagram account, Soyeon wrote, “In July 2009, I first met the fans and for 12 years and until now, I have always been thankful to the fans but also regretful. Today, the day has come when I am sharing the news of my marriage to you all.”
“I have decided to spend the rest of my life with a person who always supports and believes in both artist Soyeon and person Park Soyeon, who always supports me so that I cannot give up whenever I get tired, and who always works hard for my loving parents,” she said.
