Yopaj was at the forefront of the onslaught as he unloaded a 13-3-20 showing on his Kunkka in the series opener before following it up with a monster line of 30-2-14 on his Snapfire in the second game.

It was all Boom from start to finish as it showed no mercy against the No. 4 team in the DPC SEA Winter tour.

Boom scored the first point of the series with a lopsided 44-24 Game 1 orchestrated by Filipino veteran Timothy “Tims” Randrup who had an 11-4-26 line on the surprise Mirana pick. Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong who is playing stand-in for Justine Ryan “Tino” Grimaldo, contributed a spotless 11-0-20 line on Medusa in his first win in Boom uniform.

It was the same story in Game 2, if not a much better execution for Boom as it demolished Team SMG once more, 54 -23.

Yopaj was uncontested on his farm which allowed him to quickly snowball and dominate every team fight for Boom. Jackky and Tims also continued with its fine play in the second game as they both put up impressive performances of 7-1-31 and 6-2-34 KDAs on the same heroes they used in the series opener.

Boom Esports set up a titanic clash in the upper bracket finals against T1 which bolstered its squad with the addition of Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte. Team SMG, on the other hand, will try to recover when it faces Fnatic in their do-or-die match in the lower bracket.
