Tagaytay pediatric vaccination for kids aged 5-11 launched in an amusement park
TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite – The local government unit launched its pediatric vaccination against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) for children aged 5 to 11 years at Sky Ranch Tagaytay on Wednesday (Feb. 9).
Over 200 kids were inoculated at the amusement park.

Upon receiving their first jab, children were treated to food packs and loot bags.
Parents of inoculated children are hoping that the vaccine will allow their kids to get back to pre-pandemic childhood activities.
Shella Marie Aubrey Joya, a public school teacher at Tagaytay City National High School - Integrated Senior High School said she and her husband didn't hesitate to have their six-year-old daughter, Yanah Joya, vaccinated against COVID-19.
Though they were initially worried about the possible side effects, Joya says they chose to focus on the benefits of having their child protected against the severe effects of the virus.

"We talked to her first about the vaccine... She was willing to get jabbed and was happy about it. We told her that we wanted to protect her and the people around her," Joya told the Manila Bulletin.
"We want her to have a normal life like before, not just stuck at home, playing alone and not allowed to go out for playdates with family and friends."
