Robin Padilla calls out Erik Matti for criticizing Toni Gonzaga
By Neil Ramos
Like a real action hero, Robin Padilla has come to the rescue of beleaguered Toni Gonzaga.
He zeroed in on film director Erik Matti who, earlier, castigated Toni via social media for her appearance as host at Bong bong Marcos and Sara Dutrerte's proclamation rally.
Erik's post read in part: “To give your support to any political candidate whether or not out of affinity, blood or loyalty is between you and your conscience. You can do whatever you want with your celebrity power and God’s guidance because this is a free world, after all. But to be brazen, arrogant and snooty makes all of it despicable, disgusting and really crude.”
The so-called Bad Boy of PH Movies didn't like it.
He lashed at Erik via Facebook:
“You love to talk about freedom but you don’t respect the freedom of others
“Anong makuha mo in Bullying a woman?”

Robin received praise for his actions.
Some of the comments:
"Galing talaga ni Idol!"
"Tama!"
"Iboboto kita as senator!"
Erik is yet to respond.
