Naos rode its dominant first half performances in the two-game sweep to cruise to its first victory in the new season.

The team started out strong in the opening map in Haven with a 9-3 score on the defenders’ side in the first half. A Thrifty on the fifth round and a Flawless round on the sixth set the pace for the dominant Naos run.

LFO showed some life in the second half with an 8-2 retaliation after the switch to tie the series at 11-all. Naos, though, survived the searing rally with clutch plays in the last two round to take the series’ first blood, 13-11.

Blurred on the Jett took the Game 1 MVP honors with a game high 24 kills.

The Naos quintet kept their feet on the gas pedal in the second map in Bind, racing to a 10-2 first half tally behind the duo of Blurred and JEEElicious who unloaded 16 and 15 kills respectively.

Just like in Game 1, LFO showed flashes of brilliance in the second half scoring two consecutive rounds. A clutch from JEEElicious, however, stopped the momentum as Naos took an 11-6 triumph in the second map to close out the series.

Blurred finished with 22 kills on a 2.4 KDA on the Raze while JEElicious provided support with an efficient 4.3 KDA on the Astra.
