LTFRB lauds Region 11 for highest number of vaccinated drivers and auxiliary workers

The Land Transportation Franchise and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) through the Office of Transport Secretary, Arthur Tugade, announced recently that the Davao Region or Region 11 was registered to have had the most number of drivers and auxiliary workers who have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

The success of the said vaccination effort was made possible through the close coordination and collaboration of Drivers United for Mass Progress and Equal Rights (DUMPER) Party-list, headed by Congresswoman, Claudine Bautista – Lim, with the local government of Davao and LTFRB 11, the regional office of the transport agency.

Bautista said, “We are truly honored to have been cited for the work we have done for our drivers and auxiliary workers who we have vowed to serve. The vaccination program, through various incentives and active campaign has resulted in protecting not just our drivers but their passengers as well from COVID-19.”
