K-pop boy band Pentagon member injured by drunk driver in Korea
A member of K-pop boy band Pentagon suffered an injury after his car was hit by a drunk driver in South Korea on Feb. 9.
Yeo One, 25, has temporarily stopped his activities after he suffered a back injury when a drunk driver hit the car he was riding in.
Cube Entertainment released a statement on Feb. 10 after Yeo One was seen to have difficulty moving during the Feb. 9 broadcast of the show “Idol Live School: Homecoming Day.”

“We would like to inform you that Pentagon member Yeo One will temporarily suspend his activities due to a back injury,” the agency said.
The agency narrated that on the morning of Feb. 9, while Yeo One was going home from a personal schedule, he got into a car accident due to a drunk driver.
Yeo One was taken to the emergency room, received treatment and went home.
The agency but since Yeo One was diagnosed with minor symptoms and based on Yeo One’s strong will, he appeared on “Idol Live School: Homecoming Day” on Feb. 9.
“After that, he complained of back pain while returning to the dorm after finishing the schedule. He went to the hospital and received the necessary medical treatment, and he is currently recovering,” according to Cube Entertainment.
As a result, Yeo One will stop album promotions in the future and will focus on recovering from his injury.
“In addition, we would like to inform you that Pentagon will continue to promote as a seven-member group for the time being until Yeo One recovers from his injury,” according to the agency.
Pentagon recently released their new album “IN:VITE U.”
