ABS-CBN reacts to Toni Gonzaga's resignation from 'PBB'

ABS-CBN said that it respects the decision of Toni Gonzaga-Soriano who resigned as host of the reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" after she hosted the proclamation rally of presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and running mate Sara Duterte in Bocaue, Bulacan last Tuesday.

The full statement:

"Following Toni Gonzaga's sudden stepping down as host of "Pinoy Big Brother," ABS-CBN has reacted to it.

"In the statement released today, Feb. 10, the network reiterated that they remain 'grateful' to the seasoned actress-singer for the 16 years of being the main host of the show.

"Note that Toni was among the original member since it was launched in 2005.

"We value Toni's hosting prowess and her many years of serving the Filipino with us as our Kapamilya," they said. "We accept her resignation from 'Pinoy Big Brother' and respect her personal choices."
