3 injured as 10-wheel truck rams gas station, vulcanizing shop in Alfonso, Cavite

ALFONSO, Cavite – A 10-wheel truck carrying cement crashed into a gas station, a vulcanizing shop, and six parked vehicles in Barangay Luksuhin Ibaba on Thursday (Feb. 10).

Two victims sustained minor injuries while the other one endured an arm fracture. They were immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Barangay Councilor Abe Cordenete, one of the officials who responded to the incident, told the Manila Bulletin that the truck driver lost control of the vehicle due to a brake malfunction.

The driver and a representative of his company were invited to the police station, where authorities facilitated the settlement between them and the owners and representatives of the damaged vehicles and establishments.
