THROWBACK: Iya Villania marks wedding anniversary with BTS of Drew Arellano's proposal

The recent social media post of TV host Iya Villania is a blast from the past!

In there, Iya was smiling ear-to-ear as her then-boyfriend of 10 years, Drew Arellano, asked for her hand in marriage during their trip abroad.

However, she revealed it wasn't how Drew planned the proposal.

According to Iya, Drew was supposed to propose to her on the dock, but it was so cold she didn’t want to go there.

"So instead, he proposed to me in the castle that no one else really wanted to go to but me," she related. "Also, he was struggling trying to keep it a surprise from me coz I kept on asking where he’d propose!"

She thanked those who helped Drew - from finding the engagement ring to the one who documented the milestone.

"I still remember the struggle with your gloves when you were trying to press record," Iya quipped. "What a trip!"

Meanwhile, the Kapuso star admitted it took a while for it to sink in when Drew finally proposed, even if she was waiting in anticipation during the trip.

"But I think now, with 3 kids in and another on the way, it couldn’t be more real what a life I have with you, love @drewarellano," she said, "18yrs together, 8yrs married and still forever to go. Love you beb, happy anniversary."

It was in 2014 when Iya and Drew officially sealed their relationship.

The celebrity couple has three children, namely, Primo (5 years old), Leon (3 years old), and Alana (5 months old).

Iya and Drew are also expecting their fourth baby.
