For its unique hinge and display integration, OPPO's first foldable flagship smartphone nominated for the "Disruptive Device Innovation Award"

OPPO’s first foldable flagship smartphone, OPPO Find N, has been nominated for the “Disruptive Device Innovation Award” at the prestigious GLOMO Awards (Global Mobile Awards) for its unique hinge and display integration.

As one of the industry’s most prestigious accolade, the annual GLOMO Awards were set up by the GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association) to recognize the most innovative and brilliant feats of mobile technology. Prizes are handed out in various categories, including mobile technology, device, industry initiatives.

On December 15, 2021, OPPO launched its first foldable flagship smartphone, the OPPO Find N, on its annual OPPO INNO DAY showcase. As a result of four years of research and development and six generations of prototypes, OPPO Find N earned massive positive feedback from users, media, and the industry after its launch. The OPPO Find N was sold out instantly during its pre-sale, and it has recorded over 1 million pre-orders to date.

The OPPO Find N, From Novelty to Necessity

The OPPO Find N features an intuitive design. With the 5.49-inch, 18:9 outer display, and the 7.1-inch, 8.4:9 inner display, the device gives users a complete, immersive landscape display when unfolded and a fully functioning compact smartphone that is easy to use with one hand when folded.

The Flexion Hinge on the OPPO Find N brings in a minimal crease and allows the device to freely stand when unfolded at any angle between 50-120 degrees, giving users the flexibility to adapt the device to a variety of usage scenarios.

The winners of the GLOMO Awards 2022 will be announced at the MWC 2022 (2022 Mobile World Congress) scheduled for March 2 in Barcelona, Spain.
