Dasmariñas, GMA, Gen. Trias, Imus and Silang to experience power interruptions on Dec. 11

The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) will implement power interruptions in various parts of Cavite on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Power outages are scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 7:59 a.m. and again between 5:01 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the circuits of Abubot 32XZ and 38XZ.

Affected areas include the portion of Emilio Aguinaldo Highway from Meralco – Abubot substation to City Proper in Dasmariñas City; a portion of Barangay Biga II, Silang; Gov. Ferrer Drive from Governor’s Drive to Barangay Tapia in Gen. Trias City; and Malagasang Road from Open Canal Road to Barangay II-G in Imus City.

Other areas in the province, meanwhile, will experience a five-hour power outage from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Affected areas include portions of circuits Dasmariñas 413DM and GMA 46XF, particularly Governor’s Drive from Bridgestone Tire Center to Barangay Paliparan I in Dasmariñas; Happy Valley Subdivision and Barangay Ramon Cruz in General Mariano Alvarez (GMA), and Ipil Drive from Governor’s Drive to Barangay Bulihan in Silang.

The power interruptions are brought about by maintenance works inside Meralco - Abubot substation and the relocation of poles affected by a road widening project along Governor’s Drive in Dasmariñas.
