6.7 M vax doses administered to QC residents vs Covid-19

The local government of Quezon City announced that it already administered a total 6,757,916 Covid-19 vaccine doses to residents and workers in the city as of Thursday, Dec. 8.

The city government said that from March 2021, it listed 2,602,612 individuals who were fully vaccinated against the virus, 2,198,917 of whom were adults while 403,695 were minors.

A total of 1, 551,972 residents have also received their Covid-19 booster shots, it added.

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte encouraged the city residents who have not received their initial and second doses and booster shots to book an appointment through the "QC Vax Easy" website: https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/qcvaxeasy

She also called on the residents to monitor advisories on the details of the vaccination program on the city’s Facebook page and website (https://qcprotektodo.ph).

QC Vax Easy is the website established by the local government that seeks orderly Covid-19 vaccination drives in the city by allowing the residents to select a schedule and place to get vaccinated.

Meanwhile, the QC Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CESU) recorded 877 confirmed Covid-19 active cases out of the city’s 291,481 total cases as of 8 a.m. on Thursday.

A total of 288,257 patients (98.9 percent of total) have recovered from Covid-19 in the city, it said.
