TikTok Korea names top songs, most viewed artists in 2022

TikTok Korea released its year-ender for 2022, naming the most viewed artists, top songs and artists with the most new followers on the platform for the year. 

"We’re honored to celebrate our global community who shaped this year's trends, shared new ideas, learned from one another, and turned their passions into careers and livelihoods throughout 2022. It's been truly inspiring to see over a billion people around the world show their creativity and come together to experience joy and find a sense of belonging on TikTok," said Vanessa Pappas, TikTok’s chief operating officer.

Under “The Hitmakers: Most Viewed Artists of 2022,” in first place is K-pop boy band Tomorrow X Together followed by TWICE, ENHYPEN, Kep1er and ITZY. 

On the other hand, rookie K-pop girl group IVE’s “Love Dive” took the No. 1 spot for “The Playlist: Top Tracks” in Korea. 

ENHYPEN’s “Polaroid Love” placed second followed by Duke & Jones and Louis Theroux’s “Jiggle Jiggle,” DinDin’s “I’m not myself when I’m around you (feat. 10CM) and TWICE member Nayeon’s “Pop!” 

BTS topped the list of artists with the most new followers on TikTok in Korea, followed by BLACKPINK, BLACKPINK’s  Rosé, TWICE and Psy.
