One dead, six others injured in vehicular accident in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY -- A man was killed while six others were injured when a jeepney and pickup truck collided in San Jose Gusu, Zamboanga City on Thursday, December 8.

A pickup truck turned upside down after it collided with a passenger jeepney and a motorcycle in San Jose Gusu, Zamboanga City. 

According to a police report, a passenger jeepney driven by Benhur Udjad Jumad and traveling toward the west coast and a pickup vehicle driven by Jeramil Khan Daileg collided when the latter encroached on the opposite lane.

A motorcycle then hit the pickup thereafter.

One of the passengers was pinned down by the pickup vehicle when it turned upside down while another was trapped under the jeepney.

A still unidentified man was killed in the accident.

Injured persons were taken to the hospital while police are continuing their investigation on the incident.
