DICT, partner agencies launch eTravel

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) launched eTravel, a contact tracing platform and health declaration checklist for inbound travelers.

“The interconnection, the data-sharing and the synergy of all different departments that belong to different silos will now be integrated into a single system where we will be looking at a single point in time. , we will also ease up the public’s engagement with the government,” said DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Dec. 6, DICT said inbound travelers may register the following details through this free and new contact tracing platform: personal profile, travel deals, and health declaration.

Travelers, however, need to submit their registration three days before they arrive in the Philippines.

The platform seeks to “replace” One Health Pass and e-Arrival card. It was developed by DICT in partnership with the Bureau of Immigration, Bureau of Quarantine, Bureau of Customs, Department of Tourism, Department of Health, Department of Justice, and the Department of Transportation.

According to DICT, travelers may now access it through its official website: https://etravel.gov.ph.
