DepED, DOH, DSWD top performing agencies in OCTA survey

The Department of Education (DepED), Department of Health (DOH), and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) are the top three performing agencies of the national government, based on the latest results of the OCTA Research-Tugon ng Masa survey released on Tuesday, Dec. 6.

The independent and non-commissioned survey, which was conducted from Oct. 23 to 27 with 1,200 adult respondents nationwide, found that 87 percent of adult respondents are most satisfied with DepED’s performance in the past three months.

Filipinos are also satisfied with the job performance of DOH and DSWD, with 79 percent and 76 percent, respectively.

Only 2 percent said they are dissatisfied with the performance of DepED, while 11 percent are undecided.

OCTA said about 4 percent and 7 percent are dissatisfied with the job performance of the DOH and DSWD, respectively.

Meanwhile, indecision about the performance of the DOH and DSWD are at 17 percent and 16 percent, respectively.

Furthermore, the survey found that the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), and Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) are the least performing agencies with ratings of 38 percent, 35 percent, and 10 percent, respectively.

Dissatisfaction with DICT, DHSUD, and DMW is at 8 percent, 9 percent, and 36 percent, respectively, while indecision is at 52 percent, 55 percent, and 54 percent, respectively.
