2 minors collared for robbery-holdup, physical injury in Gen. Trias, Cavite

GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite – Two minors were collared for robbery-holdup with physical injury on Monday, Dec. 5.

General Trias City Police Station (CPS) identified the suspects as alias Dante, 17, and alias Tyrone Jay, 15.

Another male suspect of legal age, identified as alias Toto, is currently at large.

Initial investigation says the 22-year-old victim was walking home when the suspects on board a motorcycle approached him and declared a holdup.

Alias Dante forcibly took the victim's cell phone while alias Tyrone Jay slashed the victim's face with a cutter.

The victim shouted, prompting security guards around the area to arrest the two minor suspects. However, the third suspect, who was driving the motorcycle, was able to flee.

Recovered from the minor suspects was the cellphone worth to P6,000.

The victim, on the other hand, was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

The minor suspects will be turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development Office while the police are conducting a manhunt operation to arrest the third suspect.
