BI sets up e-travel platform at NAIA for exit of arriving passengers

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has set up an electronic travel platform at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to facilitate the exit of arriving passengers.

BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said the stand consolidates all data collection processes to do away the usual filling out of various forms required by various government offices.

The BI chief said it replaced the arrival and health cards as well as the arrival information form of the Bureau of Customs.

"We are happy and proud to be part of this project of improving our services to the travelling public," Tansingco said.

Various government agencies have participated in the establishment of the electronic podium, including the transportation, health, information technology, justice and tourism departments and the customs bureau.
