2 women fatally struck, run over by 2 cars in Batangas

The victims were then ran over by a Toyota Hilux pick-up truck with license plates DBF-2368 driven by Richard Perol, 33, a resident of Tanauan City, this province, from the opposite direction. They were taken to hospitals here and Tanauan City where they were declared dead on arrival by doctors. Police said the victims had just visited their relatives in Cavite and crossing the road to eat dinner in a restaurant on the other side when they were hit. Rojero and Perol were injured and temporarily under the custody of the city police while an investigation is being conducted.
