Pasay LGU calls for safe celebration of New Year

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano urged residents to watch the fireworks displays in 10 selected areas in the city for the safe celebration of New Year.

Rubiano said it is safer for residents to watch the fireworks displays than exploding firecrackers in residential areas in welcoming the 2023.

She said those who want to just stay home in welcoming the New Year can celebrate by creating noise with the use of trumpet, loud music, and their car horns.

The city government also listed these emergency hotline numbers that the residents can call in case of any untoward incident: Pasay City Police 8831-1544 or 0998-598-7922; Pasay City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) – 0905-4939111, 8551-7777, 8833-8512, and the Pasay City General Hospital at 0956-2734495 and 0961-4804954.
