Marcos appoints new Press Office execs

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has appointed two personalities to be part of the executives of the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS).

Cherbett Karen Maralit is designated undersecretary while Francisco Rodriguez III is designated as the assistant secretary of the OPS.

Maralit was the former chief of staff former senator and current Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile as well as of Senator Loren Legarda.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez served as Marcos' “traditional media team's head writer during the May 2022 presidential elections,” the OPS said.

The two took their oath of office before the President.
