NCT Dream's 'Candy' tops weekly album chart with 1.59 million copies sold
K-pop boy band NCT Dream’s new mini-album topped the weekly album chart in South Korea with nearly 1.6 million copies sold.
Hanteo Chart released the physical album chart for Dec. 19 to 25, which showed NCT Dream grabbing the No. 1 spot.

NCT Dream’s “Candy” album, released on Dec. 16, garnered a total of 1,591,021 copies in sales during the period, or equivalent to 1,667,914 in physical record index that incorporates the price of the album and is now being used by Hanteo Chart in the ranking.
BTS’ “Proof” album, released in June, took second place with 80,867 copies sold (105,610 in physical record index).
Super Junior’s “Vol. 2: The Road: Celebration” placed third with 43,777 copies sold (48,155 in physical record index).
BTS’ RM’s “Indigo” sold 34,920 copies (41,512 in physical record index) to grab fourth place, followed by Red Velvet’s “The Reve Festival 2022: Birthday” with 31,432 copies (38,593 in physical record index).
Here are the 10 top-selling albums in Korea from Dec. 19 to 25, according to Hanteo Chart:
