Barbers gets wacky in anniversary selfie

Surigao del Norte 2nd district Rep. Robert Ace Barbers is as serious and debonair as they come in the House of Representatives.

In the neophyte-filled 19th Congress, Rep. Barbers is among the few who is looked up upon by House members for his sheer wealth of experience and wisdom as a legislator.

But that doesn't mean he can't be wacky from time to time. In fact, "wacky" best describes Rep. Barbers's facial expression in a selfie shared by his wife Bernadette on her Facebook.

The couple was apparently on a date for their 31st anniversary.

"â™¥ï¸â™¥ï¸â™¥ï¸ We Come to love not by finding a perfect person but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly! Happy 31st sweetheart! I Love you!" wrote the lovely Mrs. Barbers in her anniversary message for the veteran solon.

A member of the so-called "Spice Boys", the Nacionalista Party (NP) member is the longtime chairman of the House Committee on Dangerous Drugs.
