Surigao del Norte 2nd district Rep. Robert Ace Barbers is as serious and debonair as they come in the House of Representatives.
In the neophyte-filled 19th Congress, Rep. Barbers is among the few who is looked up upon by House members for his sheer wealth of experience and wisdom as a legislator.
But that doesn't mean he can't be wacky from time to time. In fact, "wacky" best describes Rep. Barbers's facial expression in a selfie shared by his wife Bernadette on her Facebook.
The couple was apparently on a date for their 31st anniversary.
"♥️♥️♥️ We Come to love not by finding a perfect person but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly! Happy 31st sweetheart! I Love you!" wrote the lovely Mrs. Barbers in her anniversary message for the veteran solon.

A member of the so-called "Spice Boys", the Nacionalista Party (NP) member is the longtime chairman of the House Committee on Dangerous Drugs.
