Bulacan police seize P360,000 marijuana in anti-criminality ops


Police seized some P360,000 worth of dried marijuana leaves and arrested 14 law violators, including wanted persons, on the 8th day of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) in Bulacan on Friday, Dec. 2.

Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said that four drug personalities were arrested by Malolos City police in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Brgy. San Agustin on Friday.

Arnedo identified the arrested suspects as Jeros Martinez alias "Ambo," Alberto Carpio alias "Rap," Czene Joseph Faustino alias "CJ," and Gillian Bedania.

Seized from the m were two small bricks and three large rolls of dried marijuana leaves weighing about three kilograms, an eco bag, and buy-bust money.

Likewise, five other drug suspects were arrested in a series of buy-bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Angat, Paombong, San Ildefonso, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), and Sta. Maria.

Confiscated during the operations were 28 sachets of suspected shabu, a cigarette pack, a coin purse, and buy-bust money.

Five wanted persons were apprehended in separate manhunt operations of tracker teams of Bulakan, Guiguinto, Meycauayan, CSJDM, and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), and elements of Regional Intelligence Unit 3 and Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Team.

Two of those arrested were Mhel Angelo Aviles, the third most wanted in regional-level for murder; and Vincent Brayan Domingo, wanted in Balagtas for violation of Republic Act 7610 (Child Abuse Law).
