Actress Nikki Valdez believed that she and the other stars of the movie "Family Matters" have accomplished so much after it received positive reviews and touched lives.

"Masayang masaya na kami kapag nakakarinig kami or may nagme-message sa amin na nagustuhan nila yung pelikula. It only means mission accomplished dahil nakapag-send kami ng magandang message sa kanila," said Nikki during an interview after the screening of the movie at Gateway Mall in Quezon City last Tuesday.

(We are very happy when we hear or someone messages us that they liked the movie. It only means mission accomplished because we were able to send a good message to them.)

It means people supported and loved the movie. At talagang nagbayad sila para manood ng pelikula."

(A lot of people say that the movie is good because we learned some lessons. There are also reflections. Those are the common comments we got. The high rank in the box-office is just a bonus. Of course, it's good that the movie made money. It means people supported and loved the movie. And they actually paid to see the movie.)

"Family Matters" is one of the eight official entries of the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival. In the current ranking, the movie is in the top 4 in terms of box-office sales. "Family Matters" also received the Gatpuno Antonio Memorial Award at the MMFF Gabi ng Parangal held in Araneta City last Tuesday.

"I take pride in the family we built while making this film. Hearts are full to be able to impart life lessons and realisations to families specially during this Christmas season," Nikki also said.

Moviegoers raved about the movie, especially the performances of the veteran stars Noel Trinidad and Liza Lorena. Also in the cast are Nonie Buencamino, JC Santos, James Blanco, Agot Isidro, Mylene Dizon, and Ian Pangilinan.

Some comments:

"Must watch not only because it’s a great festival movie but for me, it’s an instant classic. It’ll be an injustice not to watch this in the cinemas."

"Highly recommended movie, mamamaga mata nyo and sisigok kayo sa sinehan. Kalahating rolyo ng tissue naubos ko, but you will go home happy and enlightened."

"You'll definitely love your family more after watching this movie."

"FAMILY MATTERS lived up to its title and ito talaga ang  movie na dapat talagang tangkilikin. May commercial appeal at artistic excellence, sa true lang. Ito ang pang BEST PICTURE."

"Congratulations to all the cast and crew! A must see movie for everyone!"
