Here’s the latest, sweetest deal on vacations and accommodations

While winter is settling in over the Northern Hemisphere, temperatures have begun to dip even in more tropical climes. The air, however, is not the only thing freezing this holiday as online hotel reservations service, Agoda, introduces its latest feature called “Price Freeze,” which pretty much says it all.
Like flight fares, hotel prices change frequently based on supply and demand, so typically the earlier you book the better price you will receive.
Thanks to the new feature, travelers should be able to lock in the best deals on the website, pay a marginal deposit, and stop the price from changing from one to 14 days.

“Asia has reopened, and the world is back traveling, yet people still want to know that they are getting the best possible deals, and that’s what we always strive to ensure,” said Agoda CEO Omri Morgenshtern. “There are times consumers aren’t ready to fully commit to their purchase and need time to decide, but we don’t think that should mean they miss out on the best deals. By introducing price freeze technology to our platform we can offer travelers even greater flexibility, choice, and best prices.”

Consumers won’t pay any more than the agreed deal availed from the price freeze. If travelers choose not to book within the specified price freeze period, only their initial deposit is forfeited.
To mark the launch of this feature, which can be used via desktop and mobile, available globally and on all Agoda platforms in early 2023, the travel company has developed a specially designed augmented reality game on Instagram. The goal is to catch as many freezing items as possible from snowflakes to ice lollies and cubes while trying to avoid hot items, such as tea and flames, to achieve the highest score.
