Police nab 10 drug pushers in 1 week

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police arrested 10 suspected drug pushers and seized P42-M illegal drugs in the Cordillera region from Dec. 18 to 24.

The Police Regional Office-Cordillera Regional Operations Division (ROD) said the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) arrested eight drug personalities while the Apayao Police Provincial Office (PPO) and Kalinga PPO each arrested one drug suspect.

In Baguio City, suspects were Justin Kirby Cousins 19; Stephen Galande; 21; Ronald Dean Magallanes, 23; Clever Vince Alisto, 32; Ian Cario, 18; Dale Tayaba, 38; Alwin Camacho, 39; and a 15-year-old male minor.

In Apayao, suspect was Wagner Credo, 44, and Ronnie Dangiwan, 42, was arrested in Kalinga.

Suspects face drug-related charges.

The week-long anti-illegal drugs operation seized a total of 11.21 grams of suspected shabu and 358,005.20 grams of marijuana leaves and fruiting tops with an overall Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P43,036,852.
