Nadine Lustre looks stunning as she accepts her MMFF awards

The ‘Deleter’ star was hailed as Best Actress and one of the Stars of the Night during the film fest's Gabi ng Parangal

Celebrating the artistry of local film creatives, the Metro Manila Film Festival goes on full force this time after years of the pandemic. For its 48th year, the annual film festival brought to the big screen a variety of Filipino films inviting audiences to experience once again the joy that comes from watching in a movie theater. On Dec. 27, during its Gabi ng Parangal, it honored some of the best films in its roster. One of the night’s big winners is Nadine Lustre, the lead star of Mikhail Red’s techno-horror film “Deleter.”

During the awards night held at the New Frontier Theater, Nadine was named one of the Stars of the Night, alongside actor Ian Veneracion. Her biggest win, however, was bagging the Best Actress for her performance in the film. And can we just say that she looks every bit of a modern leading lady when she accepted her awards?

For the event, Nadine wore a figure-hugging corseted long gown in a caramel tone. The dress by designer Mara Chua is made more romantic with its draped off-shoulder detail. Stylists Lyn Alumno and Raf Villas completed her look with statement fine jewelry courtesy of Jewelmer. As for her beauty look, makeup artist Jelly Eugenio elevated his work by spelling the film’s title on her face using tiny golden letters, complementing Paul Nebres updo.

Congratulations, Nadine!
