Katy Louise Saunders, Song Joong-ki's GF, hounded by rumors about being a single mom

Ever since inactive British actress Katy Louise Saunders, 38, was revealed to be Korean actor Song Joong-ki’s girlfriend, she has been hounded by various posts by netizens including that she is a single mom.

On Dec. 26, Song Joong-ki, 37, confirmed that he is in a relationship through his agency, HighZium Studio.

"Yes, it's true that Song Joong Ki is in a relationship with a non-celebrity; they've been together for about a year. She is from Britain, and their mutual friend introduced them to each other. She doesn't work in the entertainment industry," the agency said, according to SBS News.

Since then, Saunders was pointed out as the girlfriend as she has been seen with Song Joong-ki in different events and places including arriving together at Incheon International Airport on Dec. 9.

In addition, netizens are scouring the internet for information about her. One issue that has been raised is that she is a mother.

On March 22, 2012, Saunders was photographed at the “'Diesel Together With Ducati” party in Italy with what appeared to be a baby bump.

She was also romantically involved with scion Giovanni Tronchetti Provera, senior vice president for Prestige and Motorsport, and Sustainability and Future Mobility of the Italian company Pirelli, known for making tires. The relationship reportedly ended in 2013.

Saunders’ IMDB profile stated that she was born in London in July 1984, and was known for appearing in “The Lizzie McGuire Movie” in 2003, “Los Borgia” in 2006, and “Third Person” in 2013.

“She's of English and Colombian descent. She moved to Rome, Italy, when she was a child,” according to IMDB.

Saunders accompanied Song Joong-ki for the press junket of the Korean drama “Reborn Rich” in Singapore on Dec. 7. They returned together to South Korea on Dec. 9.
