Play Golf holds Junior Invitational

The ever-supportive parents of junior Filipino golfers organized the Play Golf Invitational tournament last Dec. 22 at the South Course of the Canlubang Golf and Country Club with the mission of promoting fair and competitive play among the amateur players.

Former junior golf legends Carito Villaroman and Ramon Brobio awarded the winners led by Rico See in the boys 15-18 category. Other top finishers include Shinichi Suzuki (boys 13-14); Emi Hernandez (boys 11-12); Jacob Casuga (boys 9-10); Reese Ng (girls 13-18); Precious Zaragosa (girls 9-12); and Venue Delos Santos (mixed 8-under).

The Junior Golf event was supported by Transview Philippines, Empire Golf, J-Ten Sports, Lipams Properties, Marsh Philippines Inc, JBL Harman, Digital Walker, Fuji Instax Philippines, Anthem Group, Rebisco, Oishi, Pan de Manila, Mondelez, Quickmelt, Mogu Mogu, Nirvana Thai Tea, Bissin Wafers, Marventure Corporation, Tajimaya, Ajisen, Lugang Cafe, Premium Choice Meats, Pho Hoa, Tender Bob’s, Meat Plus, Fireside, Kettle, Kimono Ken and Tim Hortons.

All the 91 participants received giveaways and went home with raffle prizes in the one-day tournament.
