MPD receives 100 new patrol bikes

At least 100 patrol bikes were turned over to the Manila Police District (MPD) on Tuesday, Dec. 27.

MPD director Police Brig. Gen Andre Dizon led the distribution and blessing of the patrol bikes donated by the Association of Police Officers Lateral Entry (APOLE) at the MPD headquarters on UN Avenue in Manila on Tuesday.

"Sa kauna-unahan, sa kasaysayan ng MPD sila ay nag-donate ng isang daang piraso ng mobile bikes (For the first time, in the history of MPD, they donated one hundred pieces of patrol bikes)," said Dizon.

Dizon also cited the association for being awarded as the Outstanding APOLE Chapter of the Year last Dec. 17.
