For a grown adult to be able to celebrate his or her mother's birthday in person makes for a special moment.

If that mother is over 100 years old, even more so.

On Monday, Dec. 26, Surigao del Sur 2nd district Rep. Johnny Pimentel's mother, Felicidad "Feling" Pimentel celebrated her 101st birthday.

A post from the Rep. Pimentel's Facebook showed that the veteran solon gifted her beloved mom with a boquet of red roses on her birthday.

Feling is a former Surigao del Sur governor.

Rep. Pimentel is a former deputy speaker in the House of Representatives. He is currently a member of the powerful Commission on Appointments (CA).
