Bulacan police seize P118,000 illegal drugs, arrest 16 violators in anti-crime ops


Police seized around P118,000 worth of illegal drugs in a series of anti-criminality operations that also led to the arrest of 11 drug suspects, two wanted felons, and three illegal gamblers in Bulacan on Monday, Dec. 26

Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said the successful buy-bust in Santo Cristo, Malolos City resulted in the arrest of four drug dealers identified as Ian Cabrera, Carl John Tolores, Rica Mariz Santos, and one alias "Kian".

Col. Arnedo said the operatives recovered P60,000 in cash and suspected dried marijuana weighing about 500 grams.

In Barangay Mabolo, also in the City of Malolos, the anti-drug operatives recovered P34,500 worth of suspected shabu and marked money from Ruben Gonzales after a drug trade.

Too, a series of drug sting operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEUs) of Hagonoy, San Miguel, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), Pulilan, and Obando rounded up six suspected drug personalities and seized 23 sachets of suspected shabu, and marked money.

Meanwhile, tracker teams of Baliwag and CSJDM police nabbed two wanted felons identified as Alvin Tomas for violation Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and an alias "Kim Santos" for grave threats in relation to R.A. 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

Guiguinto police conducted anti-illegal gambling operations in Barangay Malis, which resulted in the arrest of three persons caught playing and betting on card game “tong-its.” Recovered from them were sets of playing cards and bet money in different denominations.
