'Akyat-bahay' suspect nabbed in Imus, Cavite

IMUS CITY, Cavite – Authorities arrested an "akyat-bahay" theft suspect in Barangay Anabu I-E on Monday, Dec. 26.

Imus City Police Station (CPS) identified the suspect as John C. Cezar, 26. Another suspect remains at large.

Based on initial investigation, the homeowner saw the suspect come out of their house and immediately alerted her neighbors, resulting in the suspect's arrest.

Recovered from the suspect's possession was one cellphone owned by one of the victims.

Upon further inspection, however, homeowners found out that three other cell phones were missing in the house.

The suspect faces theft charges while the police are conducting a follow-up operation to catch his accomplice.
