Korean star Song Joong-ki in a relationship with British woman

Korean drama "Reborn Rich" star Song Joong-ki has confirmed that he is in a relationship with a British woman.

On Dec. 26, Korean media outlet Sports Chosun published an exclusive report that the 37-year-old actor has a British girlfriend. The media outlet also published photos of the two together.

The report stated that the British woman has a job not related to the entertainment industry.

It said Song Joong-ki did not hide the fact that he is dating and is continuing with the relationship. Song Joong-ki and the British woman enjoyed dating near his home and was with her on overseas schedules.

Particularly, the British woman accompanied Song Joong-ki when he visited Singapore for the promotion of “Reborn Rich” on Dec. 7. He even introduced her to the staff. Song Joong-ki has finished filming “Reborn Rich.”

Song Joong-ki confirmed his relationship with the British woman through his agency.

“Actor Song Joong-ki continues to meet a woman with good feelings. We hope you will look warmly at their relationship,” said HighZium Studio.

Song Joong-ki’s romantic relationship came three and a half years after he and actress Song Hye-kyo divorced.

Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo fell in love while filming the 2016 hit drama “Descendants of the Sun.”

They announced that they were getting married on July 5, 2017. The two got married in Seoul on Oct. 31, 2017.

On June 26, 2019, Song Joong-ki filed for court mediation for his divorce with Song Hye-kyo. On July 22, 2019, the Seoul Family Court approved the divorce settlement of the couple.
