Tips in welcoming New Year 2023: 'Move on from your ex by deleting pictures'

Master Hanz Cua started his lucky tips in welcoming the new year by saying that blue will be the lucky color for 2023, year of the water rabbit.

"There should be touch of blue at home during the first month of 2023," said Master Hanz during an interview in Mandaluyong City recently.

Master Hanz also reminded single men and women to move on from their former sweethearts by deleting photos. "Move on by deleting pictures of an old flame so that you will forget the past relationship."

Other lucky tips:

  • Make sure that your home is bright on Dec. 30, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 in welcoming the new year. "It's important that the main door, living room and kitchen areas are bright. Let's declutter and throw away things that are broken. Keep our surroundings clean.
  • Let's change bedsheets, bed cover, and pillow covers for new energy. Leaking faucets must be fixed.
  • Display 12 kinds of fruits to signify the months of the year. Some of these fruits include watermelon, orange, papaya, apple, banana, guyabano, melon, grapes, etc.
  • Make sure that our main door is not broken such as locks, doorknob, hinges, etc. "We can also repaint it before Jan. 1. Let's also clean the stove or gas range. In feng shui, the stove is wealth."
  • Fill the containers with rice, salt and sugar. Our water dispenser should also be full.
  • Wear clothes with polka dots which signifies money. Wear happy colors, jewelry, and happiness.
  • Wear new underwear to enhance lovelife. "If you're single, wear pink underwear."
  • Kiat-kiat and coins must be thrown towards the house from the main door on New Year's eve.
  • Display rabbit lucky charms at home, preferably on the east side of your home. The rabbit will enhance happy family.
  • Fill your wallets with lots of money.
  • Text your family and friends by greeting them 'happy new year'.
