NPA amazon wanted for robbery arrested in Quezon

Police nabbed a New People’s Army amazon wanted for robbery in Barangay Magsaysay, Infanta, Quezon on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

The suspect was identified as Glaiza Acayin, alias “Agnes,” “Manay,” and “Irene,” a member of the Sub-Regional Military Area 4-A and a resident of Sitio Kabuhuan, Barangay Puray, Rodriguez, Rizal.

The 1st Quezon Police Mobile Force Company led by Lt. Elmer Halili implemented a warrant of arrest against Acayin in Barangay Magsaysay.

Police caught Acayain but her two unidentified comrades escaped.

Police recovered bomb-making materials from Acayain – a sack containing four 1.5-liter plastic bottles filled with powder believed to be ammonium nitrate, a transparent zip lock containing 16 detonating cords four inches long, another two detonating cords eight inches long, and a blasting cap.

Appropriate charges are being readied against Acayain.
