Motorcycle rider injured in hit-and-run accident in Nueva Ecija

NUEVA ECIJA -- A motorcycle rider sustained minor injury after he was hit – and abandoned – by another motorcycle in an accident in Barangay Curva, Guimba around 1:10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2022.

According to a report of the Lakbay Alalay team of the Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office, a rider who was on his way to the Municipality of Lupao was traversing the Nueva Ecija–Pangasinan Road when he was suddenly hit by another motorcycle which caused him to fall on the roadside.

The DPWH crew immediately reported the incident to the police to chase the unidentified driver who hurriedly left the crime scene.

The victim was given first aid.

The DPWH personnel of Lakbay Alalay also assisted in retrieving the motorcycle to ensure the smooth flow of traffic in the area.
