‘Lakbay Alalay’ reactivated in Region 4-A to ensure safe travel among motorists during Christmas season


CALAMBA CITY, Laguna- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Regional Office IV-A has reactivated the motorist assistance program in anticipation of the heavy flow of traffic this Christmas.

Under the program dubbed ‘Lakbay Alalay,’ there will be motorists assistance centers on national highways in the provinces of Cavite,Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon to ensure safe travel among motorists.

Lakbay Alalay, according to DPWH-Region 4-A director Jovel Mendoza, started on Dec. 23 and will run until Jan. 2, 2023.

The Lakbay Alalay 2022, a motorist assistance program of the DPWH, and put up strategically in the said provinces, are manned by the Equipment Management Division (EMD) and the Maintenance Division (MD) in coordination with the District Engineering Offices (DEOs).
