Go is adopted son of Enrile, Cagayan and Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro
Senator Christopher “Bong” Go was hailed an adopted son of Enrile, Cagayan and Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro through resolutions filed by the towns' respective Sangguniang Bayans.
The recognitions were presented to him during his visits to Enrile on December 18 and in Sablayan on December 19.
Due to his exceptional contribution in public service, Go was officially declared as an adopted son of Enrile through a resolution, which was adopted on November 17.
The resolution likewise cited that Go has consistently proven his genuine concern for the nation through the implementation of programs that are dedicated to enhancing the following sectors: health, agriculture, food security, fire prevention and protection, sports, and youth, among others.
Enrile Mayor Miguel Decena Jr. recognised the services of Go in his speech during the awarding of the recognition that Go when he visited the town on December 18.
Meanwhile, a resolution filed by the Sangguniang Bayan of Sablayan on December 13 confirmed Go as an adopted son of the town, stating that the senator has "showed his heartfelt concern to the Local Government of Sablayan especially in uplifting the economic and livelihood conditions of our Mangyans by assisting this local government in availing programs and projects from the Department of Agriculture.”
The resolution also stated that Go "promotes effective delivery of health and medical services to the marginal Sablayeño thru Malasakit Center.”
He was also lauded for "dedicatedly implementing programs and projects on health care especially among low-income Filipinos in vulnerable and rural communities" and "pursuing his continuous commitment and endeavor in providing basic services that will ensure the upliftment of the socio-economic status and access to quality health services of the Sablayeños.”

Previously, Iba town in Zambales has also officially declared Senator Go as its adopted son in recognition of the latter’s solid track record in effective and efficient public service delivery, efforts at empowering local government units, and vital legislative measures.
In a resolution, adopted on June 23, the Sangguniang Bayan of Iba noted that through his public service career, Go has so far shown a big heart to the country especially to local government units where he poured government resources to empower local government units (LGUs).
Go was also declared an adopted son of Balungao in Pangasinan last September 5 in recognition of his immeasurable support and assistance to the municipality.
In December 2018, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Pangasinan likewise passed a resolution adopting Go as a son of the province.
Go was also declared an “adopted son of Puerto Princesa” by the City Council in July 2020 in recognition of his efforts to assist residents impacted by previous calamities.
In 2019, Go was declared an adopted son of the CALABARZON region in a manifesto issued by the governors of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.
They cited his many years of service under former president Duterte and “heart for his country” through the various projects he initiated which have benefited millions of Filipinos.
was formally declared as an adopted son of the heritage town of Taal through a resolution, approved on April 8, 2019.
Aside from lauding his advocacy for the Malasakit Center, which seeks to assist the underprivileged, the resolution also cited Go’s “relentless effort in uplifting the interest of the poor, particularly disaster victims and indigents all over the country.”
In January 2019, the provincial board of Nueva Ecija also adopted a resolution declaring Go as an adopted son of the province, citing his work as former special assistant of former president Duterte, his role in bringing the concerns of the people to the Chief Executive and his continued support of the province.
In a two-page resolution dated 2019, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Legazpi in Albay also declared Go as an adopted son of the city.
