1,500 kids get gifts from Pasay Mayor Emi

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano distributed Christmas gifts to 1,500 children as part of the city government’s “Paskuhan 2022” program on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

The program attended by children coming from the city’s different barangays was held at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Rubiano was joined by her brother, Congressman Antonino Calixto, and City Social Welfare and Development head Angie Roa-Yu in the distribution of Christmas gifts to children.

Rubiano said the “Paskuhan 2022” gave happiness to children and their parents who attended the activity.

She said acting like a “Santa Claus” to children also gave her contentment in celebrating Christmas.

“Ako bilang inyong ina, ang presensya ninyo dito ngayon ay isa nang napakalaking regalo para sa akin, ang makita ang ngiti sa inyong mga labi, ang tawanan ng mga bata at ang saya na kayo ay mabigyan ko ng simple ngunit galing sa pusong regalo, (As your mother, your presence is already a gift to me, seeing your smiles in the your lips and laughter),” Rubiao said.
