Juliana Gomez on the possibility of her entering showbiz: ' I never considered it'

Juliana Gomez, only daughter of Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres, is not keen on becoming an actress.

She revealed this in a recent interview, admitting she doesn't see herself as an actress.

Julia told "Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel," "I don't really see myself as an actress, just because I grew up a very shy, little girl. So I never considered it, but it's something that I definitely I won't say no to, like it's an absolute no."

She added, "Showbiz has been very good to my parents, my dad especially. That's where he really started and that's where he's been for the most of his life."

Juliana thinks being on TV is nothing "special."

She explained this is so because she grew up surrounded by people she sees regularly on the boob tube.

“The people that I saw on TV were people that I saw in our house or at the dinner table. Because growing up, my dad was 100 percent in show business. So that was also our world for a while,” she said, noting the likes of John Estrada and Anjo Yllana being among constant guests at their home.

"It was very natural and I understood right away," she added.

"I thought that it was a normal thing, which is why I thought that, you know, everything was normal. There was no difference between a person that was famous and a person that wasn’t.”

Juliana, 22, made headlines recently winning another gold medal at the West Java Fencing Challenge in Bogor, Indonesia.

She won prior at the Thailand Open Fencing championship.
