CEBU CITY – Cash assistance was distributed to several barangays in Bohol province.

Gov. Aris Aumentado and Vice Gov. Dionisio Victor Balite led the distribution of financial aid in the recent “Meet and Greet” program of the provincial chief executive.
Barangays that received P25,000 each were from the towns of Lila, Loboc, and Loay.
Aumentado has vowed to bring the provincial government’s services closer to the community through the Meet and Greet program.
“It is through this program that we also get to listen to the concerns of town and village officials,” Aumentado said.
Kits for barangay tanods or watchmen and honoraria for Barangay Health Workers were also distributed.
Each stop of the governor's Meet and Greet activity was attended by barangay chairmen, barangay treasurers, chief tanods, and officials of senior citizen associations and members of the Barangay Livestock Aide.
Aumentado assured town and barangay officials that every barangay will receive P200,000 next year.
Aumentado added that all barangay will be given the P200,000 cash assistance before his term ends.
