Andrew Schimmer: 'I'm sorry...I hate Christmas'

Actor Andrew Schimmer took to social media to express how he really feels about Christmas following the demise of his wife Jorhomy Reiena Penaranda Rovero.

On Facebook Dec. 22, Schimmer wrote:

"Sometimes life will break you to the point of no return.

"It will give you so many circumstances that you will really hate yourself.

"I’m sorry…but I hate Christmas, and I don’t think I will ever like it again."

Schimmer also uploaded a new video taken hours before his wife passed away on Dec. 20.

In the video, Schimmer announced his plans for the day.

The actor mentioned about taping for the game show "Family Feud" on GMA Network and his son who wanted to celebrate his birthday with his mother in the hospital.

His plans changed when Rovero died several months now after she suffered from severe asthma that led to cardiac arrest and hypoxemia.

Rovero's body lies at Sanctuario de San Miguel de Marilao, Poblacion, Marilao in Bulacan. She was 34.
