10 former CTG members surrender to authorities in Central Luzon

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga - Ten former Communist Terrorists Group members voluntarily surrendered and turned over their firearms to authorities, according to a report on Thursday, Dec. 22.

In Bataan, three members of Anakpawis-Bulacan chapter voluntarily surrendered and turned over a Colt Cal .45 with no serial number and two ammunitions.

The 70th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army facilitated the voluntary surrender of a former member of New People’s Army (NPA) who also surrendered a revolver cal.38, live ammunition and MK2 hand grenade.

In Tarlac, police authorities together with the Philippine Army facilitated the voluntary surrender of Ka Ronnie, Ka Mely, former Milisyang bayan member; and Ka Karab-as, former member of Anak Pawis.

They also turned over a unit of homemade shotgun without serial number, cal. 38 revolver and two rifle-propelled grenades (RPGs).

Former members of CFO Anakpawis and Gabriela, alias ‘Sonny’ and alias ‘Lara’ voluntarily surrendered to police units and turned over homemade caliber .38 revolvers loaded with ammunition.

In Zambales, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force facilitated the voluntary surrender of a former underground mass organization member identified as alias 'Amparo'.
