'Very bad service': Flight delays give Cong Olaso the holiday blues

Zamboanga City 1st district Rep. Khymer Olaso had a case of the holiday blues last Monday, Dec 19 when his flight from Zamboanga to Manila was marred by delays.

A travel itinerary that could have been over and done with in two hours ended up taking half a day, as Olaso shared on Facebook the hitches that his flight unfortunately encountered.

"So sad my flight was 0900hrs in the Zam to manila but.then it was and we flew about 1300 time and arrived at manila so late then waiting for our cargo now its already 1700 hrs local time we atill didnt get our cargo," Olaso said, who by this time was already 10 hours into his ordeal.

" sad very bad service from Cebupac," added the congressman.

A netizen named Pilarito Coronel sympathized with Olaso and agreed that the particular airline should "should improve their services".

"Yes Cong you represent the entire people of district 1 if they can do it to you what more to us ordinary passenger. They should improve their services," Coronel wrote.

Olaso went to Zamboanga to attend a House of Representatives Christmas activity. House Majority Leader and Zamboanga City 2nd district Rep. Mannix Dalipe also took part in the event.

Olaso is a vice chairman of the House Committees on Overseas Workers Affairs, on People's Participation, and on Poverty Alleviation.
