President Ferdinand “Bongbong”Marcos Jr. on Monday, Dec. 21, lauded his Cabinet as he took note of their accomplishments in the past six months.

During the 13th Cabinet meeting in Malacañang that he presided on Tuesday, Dec. 20, the Chief Executive expressed happiness over the accomplishments of different departments.
“I think we have managed that and I’m very happy that we were able to do it,” Marcos said in a toast during a luncheon he hosted for Cabinet members.
“I am told I am to make a toast. I will toast you all for the good work that you have done, the good that you have done, as I said earlier I think you have done some significant things," the President added.

However, Marcos also admitted that there are still things that need to be done.
He asked his official family to take full advantage of the Christmas holidays, get some rest and prepare again to do battle in public service.
“So with that, I suppose all that is left is to toast you and toast to all a Merry, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” the President said.
During the Cabinet meeting, the officials discussed this year’s accomplishments and key priorities and plans for 2023.
