Globe Business Leads in Sparking Synergy and Cultural Development of Enterprises
By MB Business

The inevitable changes and challenges faced by enterprises in these times push companies to come up with innovative solutions and collaborate for greater opportunities. Globe Business takes the initiative in improving business strategies toward achieving goals despite unpredictable circumstances. Through their Leadership Innovation Forum (Lead-In 2022), Globe Business inspires and encourages leaders to embrace the partnerships and collaborations inside a company and with other organizations, and create greater shared values founded on synergy - which is vital in fulfilling common goals.

This year’s theme for Lead-In, “Synergy: Building Ecosystems from Within,” focuses on the importance of evolving culture and mindset on the ecosystem approach in the industry that will impact society as a whole.

Opportunities in ‘Serendipitous’ Events
Keynote speaker, Dr. Christian Busch talked about why a culture of synergy allows everyone to prosper during his speech. He explained that in order to go faster and farther, enterprises require a mindset of cooperation and harmony in planning, mentioning the need to be open for serendipitous events.
“Our reaction to the unexpected, like making accidents meaningful, is what serendipity is all about. That’s the same with the unexpected ideas - if you won’t bring it up, that just becomes the idea that could’ve been because it never happened.” Busch said.

Openness and Collaboration
Featured speaker Aileen Jiao, IBM Philippines’ President and Country General Manager, discussed innovation through the culture of ecosystem thinking and collaboration.
“I hope you stop thinking vendors are vendors. You got to get them to sit with you side by side to address questions and problems. This is a difficult one to execute, but we have to go with the mindset that it is about co-creation.” Jiao said.
Jiao pointed out how purpose, right values, and behaviors in an organization are the main drivers of innovation. At the end of her speech, she noted the relationship for synergy to happen must be interdependent.
“You have to strengthen each other and be comfortable with the hand that grips the other to make it really strong. Come together, and have the culture of open innovation, open feedback, the trust, and the transparency that are gonna make this happen.”

Shared Values in Ecosystem
Senior Advisor for Globe Business, Enterprise Group, Don Rae, tackled how Globe encourages enterprises to collaborate in addressing larger problems. He shared about sparking ecosystems through finding partners with shared values and having unity towards common solutions.
“This starts with people talking to people. This starts with the hunger to do something. Start a conversation, exchange, and find an idea. That’s where it starts.” Don Rae said at the end of his speech.
Globe Business’ multi-awarded flagship event, Lead-In, continues to inspire and empower businesses, society, and the country. In this year’s event, Globe goes beyond providing tech services by developing cultures from within and leading businesses in making innovative solutions that will impact society.
