Share the Light: McDonald's, Coca-Cola Christmas community partnership brings smiles to Montalbeños
McDonald’s Philippines, through its charity of choice, the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in partnership with The Coca-Cola Company, prepared a meaningful holiday event for families of Sitio Pintor through a Christmas party and donation turnover in Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal last Dec. 11, 2022.
For 40 years, McDonald’s has been conducting initiatives that aim to create “feel-good” moments with partners, customers, and communities. In view of McDonald’s Philippines’ Share the Light campaign and the vision of Bringing the Magic of Togetherness, the brand gave the community a chance to celebrate Christmas with the physical presence of one another.
The McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen (MKK), a program of RMHC, aims to spread kindness by bringing food and beverages to Filipinos, specifically frontliners and vulnerable communities. This endeavor matches Coca-Cola’s initiative of celebrating the power of Christmas to bring people together around the table, hence, the brand took the opportunity to extend aid and help create fuller MKK meals which consist of a rice meal, a Coca-Cola beverage.
